JET Airways is fine-tuning its plan to double its frequency on the Chennai-Kuala Lumpur flights and hopes to start this at the beginning of its summer schedule in June.
This route currently enjoys an average load capacity of 75 per cent, founder chairman, Mr Naresh Goyal, said.
The airline is also looking at the possibility of starting daily flights from Kuala Lumpur to Mumbai, beginning November this year.
Mr Goyal, on a working visit to Kuala Lumpur, has a meeting with officials of national carrier, Malaysia Airlines, today to work out a codeshare agreement for flights between India and Malaysia.
