KL supports plan for Bullet Train to Singapore

PUTRAJAYA – Malaysia is backing the US$2.3 billion plan to build a bullet train railway between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore.

Malaysian property and utility firm YTL Corp Bhd is proposing to build and run the train.The proposal aims to cut the journey to 90 minutes from today’s 7.5 hours along a colonial-era rail corridor.
