PENANG: The Penang Hill Company Hotels & Restaurants aims to complete the conversion of two bungalows on the top of Penang Hill into hotels in 18 months.
Its chairman Peter K.H.Lee, 68, told StarBiz that the company had recently submitted the building plans to the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP) for approval.
"We are investing about RM16mil into the renovation of the Convalescent and Woodside bungalows.
"We are planning for the Convalescent to be a all-suite boutique style hotel and the Woodside to be a normal grade hotel.
"The Convalescent would have over 20 suites, while the Woodside would have over 20 rooms," he said.
