Holiday Villa's International Feast for Lunch

The dawn of a new year brings with it an occasion to start things anew.

Palm Terrace Coffeehouse at Holiday Villa Subang believes there is no better way to start the year afresh than to introduce an all-new international buffet lunch to guests.

The buffet is a combination of local and international dishes.

One can start their gastronomic journey with the host of Asian and Western appetizers that include six types of salads like Malay and Thai kerabu and Chinese cold cuts, to hot soups like Chicken Broth with Crab Meat Soup and Tomato Soup with Seafood.

Do It yourself: Chef Tan helping to serve the Vietnamese Pho Bo to guests at an action stall where customers get to cook their own noodles and add in their desired ingredients.
The section of main dishes carries a myriad of items like Seafood Green Curry, Roasted Chicken with Mushroom Sauce, Seafood Marinara, Penang Fried Kway Teow, and Hokkien Mee.

One of the buffet's highlights are the action stalls featuring do-it-yourself servings that encourage guests to cook their own noodles and top it with ingredients. Dishes rotate from Vietnamese Pho Bo and Curry Mee to Laksa Kedah and Mee Rebus Penang.

Also recommended is the Fish Head Curry served with banana leaf fragrant cumin rice, acar and papadam.

The outlet's kitchen sous chef Tan Kok Sheng said the different restaurants in the hotel chip in their specialty dishes for the international buffet menu.

For desserts, check out the Bread and Butter Pudding and eight different types of lovely dainty cakes and pastries.

Besides a new buffet lunch menu, the outlet has also introduced new buffet menus for dinner and hi-tea.

The dinner buffet menu, he said, has a bigger variety than lunch.

In total, there are seven different lunch menus and four different dinner menus rotating every day of the week.

The all-new international buffet lunch is priced at RM47 per person.
