Malaysiaku Gemilang

The new logo for Malaysiaku Gemilang was recently launched by YB Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim, The Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage Malaysia to celebrate Malaysia's 50 Years of Independence.

This is the definition of the new Logo

The logo is inspired by the high-flying "Jalur Gemilang" which is a symbol of pride to all Malaysians. The waves of "Jalur Gemilang" represent our affectionate love and devotion to our celebrated nation.

The red and white striped is styled to the numeral "5", whilst the star and the crescent moon is styled to the numeral "0". Together they formulate "50" which is the core of the logo corresponding to the celebration of our 50th anniversary of Merdeka.

The end of the styled number 5 isjoined to the stigma of hibiscus, our national flower. Five points are drawn to the stigma of the flower to illustrate five principles of "Rukun Negara".

The dynamic shape of the logo represents the pursuit and achievement of the nation ever since our independence 50 years ago.

The circle symbolizes the unity and integration of diverese ethnic groups living together in a diversified culture.

The red and white colors represent citizens of the nation, while blue color represents unity and prosperity of the nation. The glorious yellow is a symbol of leadership of the Yang di-Pertuan Agong through the victory of the nation.
