THE Paya Indah Wetlands in Dengkil, near here, will be reopened to the public in July after two years and RM20 million spent on its redevelopment.
Continued management of the place will remain under the Department of Wildlife and National Parks (Perhilitan), Natural Resources and Environment Minister Datuk Seri Azmi Khalid said.
The 3,100 ha wetland park, once touted as a national eco-tourism showcase, closed under miserable circumstances in February 2005 due to a lack of funds.
