Finalists of the Miss Penang Tourism Queen 2007 posing at the Hotel Equatorial poolside in Penang on Friday. The beauty contest is to help SJK (C) Wen Khai raise funds for a new building block and repairs to its hall.
Organising committee chairman Datuk Goh Eng Hoe said all proceeds from the contest’s grand final on April 1 would go to the project. The organisers hope to raise RM100,000.
The beauty queen will walk away with RM10,000 and beauty products, while the first runner-up will get RM2,000 and the second runner-up RM1,000.
