LOOK out for the S&M Shopping Arcade the next time you visit Petaling Street. After undergoing a three-month renovation, the shopping centre now sports a new look.
Its facade is entirely in gold with sculptured pillars, shiny crystal chandeliers and glossy marble floors.
Federal Territories Minister Datuk Zulhasnan Rafique officiated at the opening of the centre, located at Jalan Tun Tan Cheng Lock, recently.

Zulhasnan said all building owners should ensure their properties are presentable to create a good impression, in view of it being Visit Malaysia Year 2007.
He said the shopping centre was one of the landmarks in Kuala Lumpur that signified the country's progressive development.
Lee said the shopping centre had changed not just in terms of appearance but also in its products and services.
“We have expanded our merchandise to include more apparel, accessories, electronic and electrical appliances,” he said.
