MAS & ANA enhance Code-Share Agreement

KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia Airlines has expanded its code-sharing agreement with All Nippon Airways effective December 1.

Under the new arrangement, ANA now has direct access to the seats inventory on all MAS' flights between Japan and Malaysia. This revised arrangement has also been expanded to cover two additional routes, namely Tokyo-Kota Kinabalu (Sabah) and Osaka- Kota Kinabalu.

MAS managing director/CEO Idris Jala said the expanded code-sharing deal with ANA would further strengthen MAS' "hub-and-spoke" strategy as it could provide seamless passenger connections to more domestic destinations in Japan and Malaysia through our existing direct air links.
