Shangri-La GMs took part in their version of Amazing Race

Shedding their formal attire, General Managers of Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts from the region had an unusual start to their morning.

The 17 managers took part in their own version of "Amazing Race" as a prelude to their three-day annual regional general managers’ meeting.

The race revealed another side of the managers as they had to tackle challenges like sewing a button, ironing a shirt and a bicycle race.

The race took off at the KL Shangri-La’s lower lobby and finished at Menara Kuala Lumpur, where they were treated to a breakfast at the rooftop amidst a breathtaking view of Kuala Lumpur.

Shangri-La Hotel Kuala Lumpur area director of communications Rosemarie Wee said that every year, the chosen hotel comes up with activities to kick start the meeting.
