THE Tourism Ministry plans to open four more offices in China to encourage more Chinese to make Malaysia their first choice destination, Deputy Minister Datuk Donald Lim Siang Chai told Nanyang Siang Pau.
The offices will be at Xian, Xiamen, Nanjing and Hangzhou. The existing offices are in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Chengdu.
Lim said the ministry targeted 20mil tourists in conjunction with the Visit Malaysia 2007 and the 50th anniversary of Independence.
