The 21-year-old student was the fairest among 17 finalists at the pageant held at the Sunway Resort Hotel & Spa.
“I cannot believe this. I never expected to win because the other girls were all so beautiful and intelligent. I will do my best in performing my duties,'' said the Johor lass.
Asked by the emcee earlier why she thought she should be the winner, Koh won applause with her patriotic reply:
“It has always been my dream to be an ambassador for the country, as I believe I have the ability and confidence to promote goodwill and peace to the world.”
She won RM5000, a trophy, a sash and a pair of shoes from Bata.
First runner-up was MAS stewardess Joanne Chan Suit Yee, 25, who was also crowned Miss Malaysia Tourism Metropolitan 2007, second runner-up was model Marina Liaw Mei Ee, 21, who was also crowned Miss Malaysia Asia Pacific 2007.

Wow, I was expecting Marina Liaw to be at least first runner up.
I would love to get a photo with them, too bad only contestant no. 11 manage to get it with me.
Nevertheless, the contest was great.
