KUALA LUMPUR - United Arab Emirates flag carrier, Etihad Airways, will start six times weekly flights to Kuala Lumpur from January 15, 2007.
Etihad CEO, James Hogan, said the service would be one of the airline's most popular routes as there would a high volume of traffic direct from the Middle East, and also from Europeans travelling to Malaysia, via Abu Dhabi, on business or vacation.
He added that KL was a highly popular destination for UAE and other Middle Eastern nationals due to the flexible visa requirements and the availability of advanced medical facilities and treatment.
