SEPANG – AirAsia and Fly Asian Xpress’’s (FAX) code-sharing to Mulu was a hit with 1,000 seats sold within 24 hours.

Both carriers will officially fly this code share route on December 1, 2006.

Dato’ Tony Fernandes, group CEO, AirAsia said, “We reiterate that the East Malaysia market is very important to us as it poses great potential, and with both of our hubs in Kota Kinabalu and Kuching, we believe we can deliver more passengers into the states.”
